Fiona is a Solicitor based in the Aylesbury office.
Fiona aspired to be a lawyer from a very young age and frequently found herself caught up in watching legal drama series on television. Following her passion, she would later attend the University of Ghana in September 2006 for a four-year programme, where she prescribed to a major in English Language & Literature and Sociology and a minor in French. She completed all courses required for the major and qualified for a Joint Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Language & Literature and Sociology. Fiona would proceed to the University of Kent, Canterbury in September 2011 to study Law on a Senior Status level due to previous achievements, thereby allowing her to gain a qualifying Law Degree in two years instead of three. She completed the Law Degree in 2013 and achieved an LLB (Hons) in that respect. She took a year out to focus on family. Fiona would later proceed to enrol at the University of Law, Guildford in September 2014 to study the Legal Practice Course as a part-time student due to becoming a first-time mother. She completed the course in May 2017, having achieved a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice Course.
While studying the Legal Practice Course, Fiona would secure a role as a Paralegal/Future Trainee in a reputable law firm in Gerrards Cross where she practised Criminal Law, within the Magistrates’ Court Department.
In July 2017, Fiona joined DC Kaye & Co Solicitors as a Paralegal and in January 2018, she attained a Training Contract within the firm.
During Fiona’s years of training at DC Kaye & Co Solicitors, she predominantly engaged with clients under the supervision of Senior Solicitors, thereby gaining ample knowledge and skills in matters relating to Property Law (Residential and Commercial), Criminal Litigation, Family Law and Company Law.
Fiona qualified as a Solicitor in December 2019 and she currently works within the Property Law Department at the Aylesbury office.
Outside of work, Fiona loves spending time with her family, baking, gardening, podcasting, reading, writing/blogging, photography, creating music, singing and travelling.
